A couple months ago, in the middle of having my kitchen renovated and within weeks of when I needed to start a launch campaign, my Facebook account got hacked. I lost everything—personal and business accounts, Instagram—the whole shebang. Not only that, but recreating profiles has just about taken an act of Congress. Meta has frozen my new personal account several times and refuses to let me start a new professional page. I just restarted Instagram. I do not recommend starting your social media presence from scratch when you have a book about ready to launch. It’s made everything very messy and way more overwhelming than it’s needed to be.

All that would have been enough to deal with, but Dorian has had some health issues. Long story short, he’s our most expensive cat ever. He’s also the worst patient we’ve ever had, so that’s made life exciting.

On the plus side, the kitchen is done and has storage I’m not using (yet), we’re settling into the new house, and The Dragon Rider Chronicles series is DONE! Y’all, I didn’t think I was going to finish it at times. You can find all the books here for purchase, or read them free if you have a Kindle Unlimited subscription. I’m taking a break from fantasy for a while, but the dragons tell me I still have Balphrahn stories to write. There is at least one prequel series and one sequel series already brewing in my head. But for now, I’m working something entirely different. More to come on that!
